Parcours 5: Student Portal, 360° Views and Cohort Management
Byrnu announces the availability of Parcours 5. This version opens Parcours to students, offers an overview of teachers and groups, and clarifies cohort management in vocational training centres.
A Portal for Students
Students now have their own space in Parcours:
- a dedicated section in the sidebar;
- a personal list of their exams;
- a self-assignment page, where students choose the competencies they wish to undertake;
- access to legal documents, with the ability to view and download privacy policies.
A privacy and consent module completes the whole: policies and notices, a consent window and external policy addresses configurable by the administrator.
360° Views and Progress Tracking
Three new features give an overview more quickly:
- the teacher's 360° view, which brings together their detailed schedule status, a summary of their exams and their attendance;
- a progress page per group, which shows students' advancement, competency by competency;
- a consolidated cumulative hours report, available in the reports view.
Cohorts and Groups
Cohort management becomes clearer:
- the cohorts screen lets you view and manage the content of upcoming cohorts;
- groups are created from this screen;
- the centre is chosen as soon as a group is created;
- the total of planned hours is displayed in the program view;
- a new attendance status, "Non confirmée" (unconfirmed), is recognized in the relevant screens;
- confirmed and unconfirmed groups can be filtered in the planning constraints.
Rooms and Resources
Rooms and resources are better tracked:
- an occupancy management view shows what is in use and when;
- local resources can be edited directly from the management page;
- rooms and resources can be filtered by centre;
- rooms are reserved at the delivery of a competency for a group.
Pages, tabs and the toolbar state now have addresses that can be shared or saved as bookmarks.
