What Alcuin does, concretely
- Pre-transmission validation — Alcuin applies the same rules as the ministry before sending. Your declarations are verified locally: dates, program codes, pathways, funding, hours, permitted combinations. Errors are identified with the faulty field and a clear message.
- Automated transmission — XML generation conforming to the P560C protocol, PGP encryption and secure SFTP delivery to the ministry. Automatic retrieval of return reports. No more manual file handling.
- Ministry portrait from day 1 — Without entering a single record, Alcuin retrieves from Charlemagne the complete inventory of your students, their sanctioned transcripts (multi-year history), diplomas issued, special measures (EHDAA, French support, agreements) and budget portrait.
- Funding gap detection — By comparing declared hours with prescribed hours by program, Alcuin identifies unclaimed funding. Every missing hour has a direct impact on your budget.
- At-risk students identified — Failure lists by course and by student (LEC/LEE) are automatically retrieved from the ministry, enabling targeted pedagogical intervention without additional data entry.
- Three unified sectors — Vocational training (DEP, ASP, AEP), adult general education (individualized pathways, French-language support) and youth general education (elementary, secondary, EHDAA, sanctions) — in a single interface with common and sector-specific rules.
