A trigger, an action, and information moves without anyone having to watch a screen.
A great deal of administrative work consists of noticing something, then telling someone. Noticing means watching, and watching means time nobody has.
The Workflows module hands that first step to the system. It is available in beta.
Flux de travail
L'éditeur de « Flux de travail » construit des automatisations sur le modèle déclencheur → action : on nomme le flux, on l'active, on choisit un déclencheur (par exemple un changement de données sur une entité) puis une ou plusieurs actions, comme l'envoi d'une notification à un utilisateur ou à un groupe précis. Tout se règle visuellement, sans code, et chaque déclencheur ou action s'active indépendamment. Pour une équipe de gestion, c'est la possibilité de faire circuler l'information et de réagir aux événements automatiquement — moins de surveillance manuelle, plus de réactivité. Le module est offert en version bêta.
How it is set up
Trigger, then action
Name the flow, switch it on, choose what triggers it — a data change on an entity, for instance — then one or more actions to run.
Notify the right person
An action sends a notification to a specific user or to a group. Information travels to whoever has to act, instead of waiting to be looked up.
Visual, no code
Everything is set in the editor: no script to write, no integration to have built.
Switchable piece by piece
Each trigger and each action switches on independently, so a flow can be proven one piece at a time before being left to run.
In beta
The module is usable but still evolving. We open it to institutions that want to work through the use cases with us.
A management team spends part of its time watching for what has not happened yet. That is exactly the kind of task a system does better, and without tiring.
