Working days, holidays and the shape of the week are set once — everything else conforms to them.
An accurate training duration is not computed on a Gregorian calendar. It is computed on the days your centre actually teaches: the week you apply, the holidays you declare, and the particularities of a group or even of a single student.
Parcours hosts those rules rather than assuming them, and the whole of planning reads them.
Calendriers
La « Gestion des calendriers » liste vos calendriers de formation avec, pour chacun, les jours ouvrables retenus (L, M, M, J, V) et le nombre de congés déclarés. On crée un nouveau calendrier, on le duplique pour gagner du temps, on le modifie ou on le supprime depuis la même grille. Ces calendriers servent de fondation à tout le calcul des horaires et des échéances : en centralisant jours travaillés et fériés, Parcours garantit des plannings réalistes et des durées de formation exactes, sans recalcul manuel à chaque période.

The calendar: working days and holidays
Each calendar declares the days teaching happens and the holidays that apply. Duplicate it to create next year's variant instead of keying everything in again.
The pattern: the shape of the week
The pattern describes how periods are cut — AM and PM on a five-day cycle, for instance. Calendar and pattern are two distinct things, and Parcours does not conflate them.
A chain, not a single setting
The program carries a template, a phase may carry its own, and a student's enrolment may carry one again. Resolution follows a clear precedence: enrolment, then planning, then phase.
A pattern freezes once it carries attendance
Changing the shape of a pattern already in use would invalidate attendance already taken. Parcours freezes it at the first entry: the past does not get rewritten under your feet.
The simple case stays simple
A delivery that needs only one calendar and one pattern is set through a "one schedule" view, without opening the full chain editor.
Centralising working days, holidays and the shape of the week makes training durations exact with no manual recomputation each period — and it is what lets the solver propose a realistic schedule rather than a theoretical one.
