Perspective 3: Online Admissions and Personal Information Protection

Byrnu announces the availability of Perspective 3. This version adds online admissions, equips centres for Law 25 and enriches the management of course timelines.
Online Admissions
Prospective students can now submit their admission application directly in Perspective:
- a public admission form, with consent compliant with Law 25;
- an authenticated registration, which lets the person resume their application later;
- a display adapted to the phone;
- a "New registration" button on the sign-in screen.
The form is optional: the administrator turns it on or off from Management and customizes the instructions and the logo.
Application Review
Staff process applications in Perspective:
- each application has a status, notes and follow-ups;
- communications with the applicant are kept in the file;
- an accepted application is converted into a student;
- the list of applications is found under Planning.
Personal Information Protection
Perspective 3 equips centres to meet the requirements of Law 25:
- screens for settings, legal documents and retention policies;
- public legal pages and a consent window;
- a consent register tied to the legal document actually displayed;
- export of a person's information, with their form answers and the record of their consent;
- anonymization of admission communications;
- an "Audit log" of consultations and changes to admissions and student timelines.
Roles, Calendar and Reports
- The "Intervenant" (support worker) role manages timelines without touching the course catalogue, and a "Student" role is added.
- Timelines are linked to a calendar, with Quebec holidays prefilled, as well as holiday colours and categories.
- A new Reports area (Management > Reports) produces the school calendar as a PDF, with a legend and the institution's logo, as a preview and as a download.
- Courses can be reordered within a sequence and selected by study program.
- A student's contact details and addresses can be viewed and edited in their profile.
- The navigation menu is organized into sections.
