Perspective 4: Student Dashboard and Mobile Apps

Byrnu announces the availability of Perspective 4. This version gives students a clear view of their path, attaches students to their centre and puts Perspective in everyone's pocket with new mobile apps.

A Dashboard for the Student

Every student now sees their current courses at a glance:

  • the start and end of each course, holidays included;
  • the days remaining;
  • the progress;
  • the expected end date.

Students view their own dashboard. Staff can open a student's dashboard from the list of timelines. The dashboard is the first item in the Student and Teacher sections of the menu.

Centre Management

Centres are managed from Management:

  • centres imported from GRICS are available, and students are attached to them;
  • the student's centre and schedule are displayed and edited in their profile;
  • the "Intervenant" (support worker) role can view them;
  • a confirmation is requested before a schedule is removed.

Personal Information Protection

Perspective 4 continues the Law 25 compliance work:

  • a student's own schedule is destroyed along with their file;
  • the student's centre is included in the export of their personal information.

iOS and Android Mobile Apps

Perspective is now available on the phone, in viewing mode, for iPhone and Android:

  • notifications to be informed of changes;
  • a secure sign-in specific to the app;
  • a single Profile tab, which brings together the account, the notification list, the "mark all as read" button, the link to the phone's settings and sign-out.
